American Presidents and the challenges they faced will be the focus of TeachingAmericanHistory.org’s Saturday Webinars for Social Studies Teachers for the 2015-2016 academic year. Drawing from our list of 50 Core Documents, and exploring related sources, TAH.org’s American Presidents webinar series is designed to give teachers a deeper understanding of the issues – domestic and foreign – that each of 10 presidents faced, and how those men handled the challenges of their times.

Each of our monthly webinars consists of a conversation about these critical questions among a panel of scholars noted for their teaching and research on American history and government. Professor Chris Burkett, of Ashland University, will moderate a group of panelists who will discuss select documents with one another, with participants able to raise questions for panelists to address.

8:00 - 9:15 am (Pacific Time)

One Saturday per month
